About Remi *On Trial in Her New Home*
*REMI IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet adorable Remi! She’s a gentle-natured soul who’s not at all in your face and licky and is great around children as she rarely jumps up.
Remi has a friendly, affectionate nature and is used to being handled (cuddled!). She gets along well with her foster carers own little dogs just wanting to play or hang out – she’s even good with the household cat Even though she’s a little stubborn this clever pup has already mastered “sit” and it helps that she enjoys food especially Schmackos which will assist with any further training you’d like to do with her She’s eager to please her humans and quite likes a game of fetch even though she doesn’t always bring the toy back! Remi hasn’t spent much time on a lead as she needed to be fully vaccinated before getting out and about so will need some practice with this in her forever home.
Lovable Remi is described as a bit of an introvert by her foster carer as she’s not an overly rambunctious, energetic puppy – she’s a bit of a quiet achiever who rarely barks. She loves water and has proven to be quite a good swimmer during her recent visits to our mighty Murray River though a doggie pool in the backyard would suffice, just so long as she can splash around. She’s a bit of a mixture as far as breeds go and is made up of Staghound/Wolfhound and Bull Arab and has a slightly hairy coat which is surprisingly soft.

As Remi is housetrained (she sleeps outside at night) she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time as she’s used to having company, so a retiree or stay-at-home mum or even someone who works from home would be perfect. Being a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Remi very happy indeed!!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
