“Rummy”, Makeover in Progress. Cat Tolerant. Melb

One of the best things about rescuing greyhounds is watching them transform into happy, healthy pets. Rummy’s pet makeover has been particularly stunning, from a skinny, scruffy ragamuffin to a glowing fawn girl with a lean, healthy body…and she’ll only get more gorgeous from now on!

Rummy’s gentle, loving personality is also emerging. She’s still a little coy about the privileges of pet life, and gives her foster carer a sheepish glance when she gets up onto the bed (which she’s just discovered). She’s not coy about going for walks though, and her joy when someone picks up her leash is adorable!

Rummy would prefer a home with company during the day (human or canine), and plenty of cuddles, toys and treats. She was curious but not aggressive when she met her first cat, so may live successfully with a confident feline. Rummy needs reassurance around loud noises, so will do best in a calm household where she can build her confidence. Small dogs are fine, and she gets on well with her Jack Russell foster brother.

Beautiful Rummy has come so far already, we know she’ll just keep on getting better once she finds her forever home.
