Aslan

Aslan is a 4 year old pure bred stock (short) coated German Shepherd male who is in need of a loving home. Unfortunately his family are having to part with him as they just do not have the time for him.

Aslan is currently living with another older dog and they are great mates so we know he would be fine with another dog in the family as long as they are introduced properly.

Aslan has not, however lived with small dogs or other smaller pets or cats.

Aslan is not just to go to a home where he is to keep another dog company while the family are all out all day. This beautiful boys is not guard dog material he is a gentle and loving dog who would be an ideal companion dog for a mature aged couple who have the time and commitment to walk him daily and have him as a much loved inside dog.

Aslan is also good with children having grown up around children but we would need to confirm that the children are dog savvy and not too little to be knocked over by this big boy.

Aslan is currently located at Miranda in Sydney and he comes fully desexed, vaccinated and on heart worm prevention. Unfortunately he does have fly strike on his ears which will improve once he is given inclusion in a family home and not just left as an outside dog.

Please understand we want the best possible home for our rescue dogs and the new owner must have had plenty of experience with the breed and Aslan must be allowed in the house as all family members should be.
