Say Hi to Tess! Tess is a highly intelligent Rottweiler Lass who is about 5-6 years old. Tess is a lovely pooch, the caliber of which we don’t see in our program too often. Tess is very loving; she is already well trained and enjoys her pats and attention. She walks well on a lead and is just a joy to be around.

Tess has a story to tell, with a happy ending. She was dumped late one evening at a vet clinic, presumed “found “and heavily pregnant. Not realising there were stuck puppies, the vets in turn sent Tess to our care via the local pound. But by the time we received her puppies in her belly had died and Tess was in grave danger of losing her own life. She was raced to our supporting vet at Noranda Vets where Dr Robley and his wonderful team worked miracles to save Tess. Sadly none of her puppies were alive.

Tess came home to my own family farm where she spent time convalescing. During this time she socialized with all my other rescue dogs, both male and female of shapes and sizes. She tolerated the cats, and was intrigued by the horses. Tess is the kind of dog that will respond extremely well to correction, and will bond VERY quickly to her human. She thrives on routine, and will be a wonderful companion and family pet.

Tess is guaranteed to steal your heart. She is very affectionate, and would suit a family with another dog or just be your own faithful companion. She has been around children in our recent foster home environment and appears to be confident and comfortable. Tess will reward you with all the loyalty that you will deserve. She really is worthy of a fresh start in life.
