Needs to live with another dog.
Preferably with someone home a lot.
Hi my name is Colin. I’m a lovely boy who sadly lost my friend 8 months ago who was a Bulldog and since then I get so lonely I take myself for walks which is dangerous, so I’m now locked up inside the house to keep me safe which is no life for a dog.
My current owners work long hours and even though they love me very much they need to find me a new home where I will be happy with another dog.
I’m not with SRV as yet and hopefully find a home in the next week so I can go straight from one home to another, so I’m keeping all my paws crossed that my wish comes true.
I’m house trained, I love riding in the car, I great with other dogs, I’ve never lived with children but I’m good with them although I could knock little ones over because I jump up, I’ve never lived with a cat so I had best not go to a home with one of those.
I’m scared of loud noises, fireworks & storms and try to escape if I hear one if I haven’t got someone around to stop me getting scared.
I know how to sit, shake hands, stay & have good recall.

and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan: jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
