About Chester ~ Cattle x Puppy (on trial 26/06/16)
Introducing Chester, 4 month old, Australian Cattle Dog x puppy. Chester is a sweet boy who loves adventure and do everything by your side. Chester came into care with his 3 siblings at just 5 weeks old.
Chester’s favourite things to do are running around the backyard playing with toys. Chester gets along very well with other dogs.
Chester has quite the adorable little attitude. He is not a nuisance barker but will give you a little bark when excited or when he sees his food at mealtimes.
Due to the nature of his breed, Chester will need a home with 6ft secure fences. He will also need to be walked and exercised daily.
Chester would suit a home with an active family, where he would be incorporated into their everyday lifestyle and be allowed to be inside as well as outside. He is currently sleeping indoors where he is most comfortable.
It is also a big plus if you already have a well mannered dog as a friend, teacher and playmate. If this is not the case, he will need to go to a home where someone doesn't work full time.
For more information or to meet Chester, please email Cindy cinadmil@yahoo.com.au. Chester is in foster care in Islington, NSW (Newcastle).
Chester's adoption fee is $500 and he is vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
