Nellie ~ poodle x (On Trial 2/4/16)

This is the delightful Nellie! She is a 6 year old, female, Poodle x. She appears to be crossed with cocker spaniel but her paperwork says poodle x beagle, so we're not sure. She weighs around 10 kg. Nellie is house trained and uses a doggy door. She is living harmoniously with our five other dogs.

When it comes to describing Nellie, words like gentle, friendly, funny and loving come to mind. This little girl has a generous soul!

Nellie loves to go for walks and is easy to manage. She enjoys playing with her toys but most of all she believes that she is a lap-dog. Nellie will sit, shake hands and stay. Given the opportunity I am sure that she could learn so much more as she is very attentive and bright.

Nellie loves company so a family where there is someone who doesn't work full time is ideal. She would happily fit in with another dog and absolutely enjoys being around children. She's an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.

Nellie has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful.
