About Shirahlee
Shirahlee has been through some horrible stuff in her young life. She was rescued from a country pound where she had given up, she was skin and bones, and petrified of collars and leads... to the point the Ranger and I had to carry her out to my car.
A few months on and Rahlee is much improved and can walk on the lead without feeling so scared. She is very much a pup at heart, loving and playful with other dogs and pups. She enjoys being inside where I have our chihuahua and maltese, and our own cats. No dramas with any living creatures now.
She remains a little wary of people she doesnt know but everyday we make her life happier and worth living and she is blossoming beautifully. It is awesome to share her journey.
Location: Narrandera NSW
Is able to travel interstate but only by private car, so she is transitioned properly to her new home. Her new family will need to be very understanding and supportive of her new journey as she continues to emerge from her trauma affected past.
Heres a video of her walking on the lead for the first time outside of our yard

Medical notes
Shirahlee is a Great Dane x.... she is not as big as a "normal" dane. Could be from malnutrition as a pup.... she has been stunted... or perhaps its her x breeding... we dont know..
Currently weighs 33kgs @9/4/16
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
