About Lily
Introducing the lovely Lily. Lily came into the AWL Western Suburbs Foster Program via Blacktown Pound. She was hand picked to be a foster cat by her carer who has done a wonderful job in caring for Lily. The time has now come however for Lily to find her forever home to free up a space for another pound cat to go into foster care.
Lily as you can see by her portfolio rather fancies cuddles and hugs. Lily still has a bit of kitten in her she loves to play however is not all live wire kitten antics. She would be ideal for a family and is a lovely size for smaller children rather than a small kitten. Lily is gentle and all round is a lovely junior girl.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $52 once off fee. ($21.00 for eligible pensioners) This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Preadoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you after the initial phone enquiry or email for a form now.
