About Slate
Slate was part of a litter that were left on a dirt road off the Moondarra Road.
Slate was initially the biggest pup in the litter but they have mostly caught up with her now that they are about 12 weeks old. She is sociable and so very cuddly just like her sisters and brothers. Fortunately, the pups have had lots of love to compensate their bad start.
Sad little Slate had an accident a week ago when she fell off a ramp at the home of her foster carer. Unfortunately, she landed badly and has a nasty fracture of the tibia which was incredibly painful for her. She is now sporting a plaster and her activity and play time will be considerably hampered for a few weeks. The good news is that due to her young age the Vet expects a total recovery.
Medical notes
