About Angie
Angie is, without doubt, the happiest doggy I have ever known. Her tail never stops wagging, she never stops smiling, and she LOVES everyone - canine and human.
She is up for a walk any time that any one offers but she is also able to keep herself entertained. As long as she has a companion that is. Angie needs a full time buddy - she just has way too much happy energy & love to give to be left on her own.
Angie's owner recently passed away & her little buddy (an elderly Chihuahua) was adopted very quickly. Angie has been in our care since and currently spends her days hanging out with 5 other small dogs - all of whom she loves. She is also quite happy to mix it up with larger doggies and cats as well. She doesn't have any dominance issues or competitiveness. No time for such things - she's way too busy having fun!!!
Angie is still a little overweight but she is steadily losing it with all the extra activity she now gets. She is not really food obsessed so her weight is most likely due to inactivity with her previous owner.
Angie is great on or off leash, she is toilet trained, and will sit & stay on command. Although her constant tail wagging makes for a semi-sit really!
Angie is great with kids and enjoys her time with our mixed bag of volunteer walkers. She has also proven to be very patient and warm toward the special needs adults who visit our rescue animals on a regular basis.
Angie would suit a family or a couple of any age, as long as she gets to go for regular walks. And has a four legged buddy!! She will make her new family so grateful for her existence. She is an absolute delight in every way!!
Medical notes
Angie is in good health. She is desexed, vaccinated, wormed & treated for fleas & ticks. She does need to lose a bit of weight but this does not affect her activity in any way.
Adoption details
Contact Sweet Pea Animal Hospital to arrange a meeting or to further discuss Angie and her suitability. We always strive to find the most suitable home & family for each of our rescue pets, so adoption is at our discretion. We expect that all of our rescue animals will continue to be vaccinated, wormed & treated for fleas & ticks. We require that yards be properly fenced.
