About Buckley
Oh Buckley.
How does one describe you?
This boy is literally two polar opposites within himself he is both an absolute goof and a food motivated smart boy who just wants to please.
Buckley is just hilarious, he trots like a horse when he walks and when he is playing with other dogs he dances. He wants nothing more than to please both animal and human. He is currently in foster care with 12 other dogs and 2 cats and has befriended all members of the family. He is still learning appropriate manners with the cats as he bats at them when they bat at him. We think he just believes they're playing with him.
Buckley has started learning his basic obedience and oh wowza what a smart boy. He learnt sit, wait, look, shake and stay/ wait within a few hours and he is so food motivated that anything you want him to do he is happy to do just to please you and potentially receive a treat.
He travels amazing in the car, and sleeps the whole way. He is still learning some manners and toilet training but with how smart he is, we don't think this will take long.
The perfect home for Buckley would be one preferably with another friendly and social dog, a home where he can go on adventures and continue his obedience training, a home where he can be allowed both freedom of the inside and outside of the house and one that will love and care for him like he deserves. Safe and secure fencing with no gaps and over 4-5ft would be needed to make sure he stays safe in his new home, we will make exceptions for properties though.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
