About Simon (Thymon)
Simon is a very special bunny.
He came to us as he had been handed in to a local Vets on the other side of the city to us.
The only conclusion either the Vet or myself could make was that his owners had let him go as he was going to need dental work.
when Simon was checked up his teeth were in a terrible state, most likely from a very poor diet, which usually means no hay. He was also emaciated to the point where he had no thighs to speak of, He could not sit on his bottom as he didn't have one! This is because he could not eat.
Initially his teeth were trimmed back but he still couldn't eat so they were removed.
I took over from there & have slowly built his muscle tone & he began gaining weight because of a very special diet that we put him on. He slowly gained strength from running around the room & began sitting on the bottom of the four trolley as I wheeled it around feeding all the other buns!
He had a lot of fun playing with the little Leveret we had here for a while too & is fine with cats & dogs.
He is so lovely & full of cheek & needs a very caring & loving home to look after him as toothless buns do have special needs, but we can help you with all of that.
You can check out Simon's Facebook photo album and find out more about him and The Bluey and Alice Bunny Refuge at https://www.facebook.com/blueyandalicebunnyrefuge/
Medical notes
No teeth & will require special feeding 7 is not great with toiling as are most buns with teeth issues.
