About Cedah ~ Beagle X on trial 1/04/16
Meet Cedah! Our gorgeous (approx) 12 month old, Beagle X, boy.
Cedah is just the sweetest young man that you ever will meet. He steals the hearts of everyone he comes across with his happy, bubbly nature. He is such a special boy in the way that he gives his love, from the endless array of cuddles and kisses, to his loving glances with his beautiful, sweet eyes.
Cedah has a few hobbies - he absolutely loves chasing the ball, playing with his chew toys and going for walks, and in quieter times he adores snuggling up with you to watch tv and spend time with you.
Currently Cedah is an outside dog during the day when no one is home, enjoying his fully fenced yard with lots of toys to amuse himself with. However, when the family are home Cedah is inside with them where he can get lots of love and attention. Cedah is house trained and sleeps inside of a night, and we'd like his new owners to allow Cedah to continue this lifestyle. Cedah will go well with a family who currently has another dog, as long as it's one who has similar age/energy to him and can withstand lots of playtime. Ideally, his companion would be female, however Cedah would also go well as an only dog.
Cedah has proven to be great with children and has been in care with a 3 year old, whom he plays with beautifully. Cedah is a smart boy and he can sit and stay, but would benefit greatly with further training. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
A nice little brush every few days and a bath every couple of weeks would will keep him soft and smelling beautiful like the wonderful boy he is.
For more information or to meet Cedah, please contact his foster carer Shannon on 0402037444 or email Shannon-Christie@live.com.au. Cedah is in foster care in Tarro, NSW (20 minutes east of Maitland) and is available for adoption interstate.
Cedah's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
