About Windy
Beautiful Windy (what a name!) is a 4 year old greyhound boy who was surrendered by his trainer to a vet school. After a couple of years of patiently teaching students how to do ultrasounds and take blood, Windy is now looking for his retirement home.
He currently lives as an only dog in foster care and loves to be around his foster family when they are home. However, if nobody is at home, he is okay to be left inside or outside for a reasonable time. He has mastered the stairs in the house too which was a bit of an effort with those long legs!
Windy does not need a lot of exercise but loves the sight of his lead! He enjoys a half and hour walk in the morning and then goes out again for 5- 10 minutes in the afternoon. Also loves to play! Loves a good squeaky toy or ball, will play for a good minute and then take it back to his bed. So cute!
Windy is a stunning tall boy and his coat is completely black. He is good with large dogs, but too excited around little dogs. Windy is not cat friendly.

2) We will send you our adoption inquiry form so we can learn more about you, your family and lifestyle.
3) Amazing Greys conducts a house check and introduces you to a greyhound we think matches your family and lifestyle
4) If we both agree that the greyhound is a good fit for your family, he/she goes on a 3- 4 week trial with you
5) After a successful trial period, the greyhound moves in permanently with your family.
We will keep in touch with you throughout the process and help you and your greyhound settle in.
