About Petal
Introducing Petal. Little Petal was taken into foster care under the AWL Western Suburbs branch after being handed into Blacktown pound at 3 weeks of age. Petal as her name suggests is a delicate kitten who has just recently been in hospital but has bounced back 100%. She is a playful kitten very active and very sweet in her nature. Petal is fearless when it comes to playing with her stuffed toys as one of the pictures suggest. She had us in stitches when photographing her we placed her toys in a row and she charged in and knocked them all down!!! She is a lovely kitten and we want only the best home for her.
If you can supply that home then please contact Jeanette on 0401 148 076 to organise a pre adoption application form.
Medical notes
Hernia that will be corrected when Petal is desexed at 8 weeks. Our vet does not see any problems in this operation.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $51 once off fee. This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Preadoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you after the initial phone enquiry or email for a form now.
