About Mordecai
Mordecai came into care with his brother Junior and is now searching for a home either as a duo with Junior or in a home of his very own.
Mordecai is only a small boy, around 4 kilos in weight and we think he will stay around the 4-5 kilo mark when fully grown. He has shown that he is a little more confident than his brother but still a little shy boy who would do great in a home that can take him on adventures and expose him to the world.
We are currently assessing how both Mordecai and Junior will go separate but will happily take applications for them as either sole companions or as a loving duo. The new home for Mordecai will need to be a little patient with him so he can build his confidence as a single dog, they will need to allow him inside the house so he feels comfortable with the family and gets to be a real member of the household, another friendly and social dog will do him best so he has someone to balance him out and a home that can give him some light exercise to keep his mind and body stimulated.
Due to his size, he may even be suitable to live in an apartment as he is a low fuss boy.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
