Hi everyone!

My name is Axel and I am looking for my new home!

I'm a big handsome boy who has so much love to give. I'm a very active dog and I love exploring the outdoors. I would love if my new owners will have to exercise me daily this can include walks and playtime.

Being so big makes me strong as well so I would benefit from ongoing lead training and basic obedience training to keep my manners in check! I'm very smart though did you know that I can already sit! I'm very food motivated as well which makes me easily trainable.

Did I mention that I love being around people? I love it so much that I can become a little stressed when left alone. It is important that my new owners leave me with items to keep me occupied when I am left alone. This can include things such as kongs bones toys and long lasting treats.

I have met a few doggie friends here at the shelter but can be a tad boisterous when first meeting them so if you have another dog at home please bring them in to ensure that we like each other!
