About Winnie (Dog Friendly)
Look at this handsome fella. We think he looks so cool with sunnies on. And we also think this sweet boy would be thrilled to find his forever home.
Winnie was surrendered into Wally's care along with his siblings, Daisy and Ron. Full of personality and energy and craving nothing but love, Winnie just wants to be right there with you, wherever you go. He is currently in foster care with a number of other dogs of all ages and sizes and is learning some basic manners. He gets along well with other dogs both small and large and we think a calm older dog would be fantastic for Winnie to help teach him social skills.
Winnie is very food motivated and is already picking up the 'sit' command and uses the doggie door to take himself outside to go to the toilet. Now that this gorgeous boy is being cared for the way he always should, he will learn what's acceptable and what isn't and basic manners. Winnie LOVES children but we do recommend over the age of 8yrs due to his size and energy level.
We would love to see Winnie find a home where he has another doggie friend to keep him company when his family aren't home. A family who will be committed to continue his training so that he grows up to be a well mannered and sociable boy and most of all, a family who can show him the love that he so deserves.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ so please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Winnie.
If your interested in finding out more, or would love to meet this gorgeous boy, please follow the adoption procedure as stated below. Winnie will come microchipped, desexed, vaccinated (1st and 2nd vacc covered), wormed and flea treated and will be available for adoption once his vet work is complete. He is located in Bateau Bay on the Central Coast, NSW.

When enquiring about Winnie, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialization outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
