About “Aunty Joan”, Asks So Little, Gives So Much. Bris
Aunty Joan is everyone’s favourite auntie! She’s a dainty, sweet little lady, with an elegant, regal manner. Aunty Joan never nags or grumbles, but just settles herself in the comfiest place she can find, and makes herself available for cuddles. She’s charmingly grateful for any attention she gets, but never demanding, and walks beautifully on a lead when it’s time for her daily stroll.
Aunty Joan behaves a like a lady with her canine foster siblings, who are both mature dogs who suit her refined style. She also loves playing ‘Aunty’ to her 8-year-old human neighbour, and would be great in a household with gentle children. Aunty Joan is still deciding what she thinks of small dogs and cats, and sometimes gives the little dog next door a good telling-off if it bothers her. Even the nicest aunties have their limits! Auntie Joan has also been known to have bouts of kleptomania (two remotes and an i-Phone!), which is perfectly understandable, given how exciting the world must be for a curious little lady discovering home life for the very first time.
Aunty Joan has settled into retirement with calm and contentment, and we’re sure that whoever adopts her will be very glad to have this loving, gracious lady come to stay.
