About Ritchie
What can I say about Ritchie? He's just a perfect little kitten all over.
He is an affectionate and playful young cat, loves toys, laser pointers - everything! Ritchie is confident and affectionate with other cats and with dogs of all sizes. He gets on beautifully with our resident shepherds.
One of his best traits however is that Ritchie is the most laid back kitten I have ever met. NOTHING seems to phase him. He can be more independent than our other foster cats, he prefers to do his own thing. He will sit next to you, rather than on you. He will follow you around but won't be under your feet.
He does like a lap to sit on sometimes.
Ritchie has a very soft, fluffy coat with gorgeous ginger and caramel markings. It will require semi-regular grooming to keep knot free, and will shed during seasonal changes. His coat will continue to grow until he matures. This is evident in the photos we have posted of him, as there is some time between shots and his coat has grown substantially since.
We can only estimate how old Ritchie is, as he came into care as a stray from a pound. We believe he is around 6 months of age.
Ritchie would be suitable to any home with proper introductions to resident animals.
Medical notes
Ritchie is located near Leeton in New South Wales, but can be transported else where at the adopters expense.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
