Letitia

Letitia (or “Lettie” for short) is a small-sized dog with a big personality! Happy, playful, and much more confident than when she first arrived at VDR, this little lady loves people and engages with new friends and old, often in the pursuit of a highly coveted pat or belly rub at any chance she gets. She certainly knows what she wants in life!

Her adoration of people means that Letitia would prefer to live in a home where she can have lots of human company, but she may also be fine if left alone during the day as long as she’s got a comfortable bed and inside access of some sort. Letitia doesn’t necessarily need a doggy friend for companionship, but a small, quiet one who doesn’t mind if she’s the boss might be a good fit for her. Letitia is coming out of her shell with confidence growing every day, but introductions to anything new will need to be slow for this girl so she doesn’t become stressed. Patience will be rewarded with little Letitia.

Letitia is learning obedience and has a good grasp of some basic commands, takes treats gently, and is house-trained. She walks very well on the lead, which is just as well as she loves getting out and about for some exercise each day.

Letitia is looking for a home where she can be included as one of the family and allowed indoors where the action is and to sleep at night. She would also love a bit of outdoor space so she can explore and roll around in the grass. Letitia enjoys time with her people as much as she can and seems okay with older, gentler children, but no young ones, please. She’s otherwise quite adaptable, and with lots of affection and some dedication to teaching her the ropes, she’ll be a happy little girl and a wonderful addition to the family of whomever is lucky enough to have her!
