About Trevor

Otherwise known as 'Mr Sweetie-Pie', Trevor is the best friend you’ve been waiting for! Taking a little time to warm into his new home, a few sessions of playtime and pats will soon have him trusting you completely and utterly, and you’ll become the person he looks up to. As his confidence builds his affectionate side will soon become blatantly apparent; he'll sidle up to you for endless pats and will want to get as close as possible to your face when it’s bed time.
Sweet little guy Trevor does take a few weeks to feel comfortable, he is startled by loud noises and lots of activity at the beginning, but once you’ve got his trust he is completely at home, with not a care in the world when your pots and pans come crashing down. He is a little cautious of guests, but if the environment remains calm he is happy to eventually come out for pats.
Trevor loves playtime, soaring through the air to catch his toys, and also loves sitting up on the highest spot in the house so he can survey his kingdom.
He is always happy to see you when you get home, offering lots of purrs & chatting until he gets the attention he deserves. With one of the sweetest little faces on the planet, Trevor will have you completely under his spell.
MY IDEAL HOME... is a nice, calm place, with a couple of great hiding spots just in case, as well as plenty of toys to play with. I'll also need a human/couple/family who will play with me every night and who will be happy to become my protectors.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I’m either ready to play, or ready to be fawned over. When it’s play time, I have HUGE bursts of energy, so need a solid 15-30 mins of play time to tire me out. Like most cats, I’m happy to nap during the day, and have moments where I’m happy to sit alone, but when you’re chilling out, I want to be there. I am the king of 'making biscuits' – I could open my own bakery by now!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Because I can be so easily startled, I would only like to live with children who can be gentle and quiet around me... but I know they’d be fun at play time, so once I trust them I’m sure we’ll get along fine!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS & DOGS: I’ve grown up with my brother Malcolm who I used to love running around and wrestling with, always pouncing on him right when he least expects it! So I would be suitable with other cats who love a good tumble, although I think I would do very well as an only cat also.
I have never been around dogs, and would mostly likely be a bit scared of a big dog running around all the time, but would probably get on well with a quieter, older dog who has lived around cats before.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
