About Bruce
Brucey boy had a very abrupt turn of events in his short life, he was actually dumped on the door step of one of the founders of the rescue and left to fend for himself. Of course after taking appropriate action, his owners never reclaimed him and he became a tiki boy.
Even though this boy was skinny and in need of some medication for his skin, he has shown to be warrior and such a sweetheart at the same time. He adores other dogs of any size and currently lives in foster care with 10-12 other dogs. He also has horses and chickens in his foster home and shows nothing but love and tolerance to both. He has been exposed to young children as well, and seems to be fine with them. We think with his gentle and loving nature, he would be fine if exposed and introduced to cats properly.
Bruce is currently learning all his basic obedience, toilet training, on and off leash training and recall and is doing well in all areas. He would do best in a home with preferably another friendly and active dog to play with and a home that can be a little mindful that he has some timid traits.
Typical to the Dane nature, he would love a home where he is allowed indoors with the family and have access to a nice comfortable bed or even a lounge if people are willing to share. He is a big gentle giant who isn't as large as a purebred Dane as he is around the 35-40 kilo mark.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
