About Button ~ 1yo Kelpie X girl (on trial 3/04/16)
Button is a beautiful 15 month old female Kelpie x. This stunning girl just wants to be with you as close as possible so she can look up at you adoringly.
Button loves kids, cats and other dogs. She has a beautiful nature and just wants to have friends. Button is intelligent, loyal, and very energetic. She also loves toys and playing games. She hopes to have an active family who can take her for a nice run or walk and play lots of games with her.
Button is an outside dog that is learning to come inside, but sleeps outside. It would be great if her new family would continue to teach her about inside behaviour so she could enjoy being with her new family.
Button learns quickly and is very easy to train. She is currently learning some basic training, but would love it if her new family could do some more training with her. Button still needs work on the lead, but with the right collar she would be a great walker very quickly.
Button doesn’t mind being alone in the yard. She’s usually happy just relaxing in the sun, but if someone comes to your place then she will let you know.
What Button really wants and deserves is someone to be her best friend for life.
For more information or to meet Button, please contact her foster carer Kelly on 0430 549 685 or email kel_wjl@hotmail.com. Button is in foster care in Tanilba Bay, NSW (north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Button's adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
