Sia

Meet Sia, she is a 3 year old lovely Great Dane who is your typical sensitive gentle giant. Sia loves hanging out with her humans and great dane foster brother, she doesn’t cope being left alone to her own devices and will need either another dog or humans that are home a lot. She came into care with severe flea allergy and only now is her coat starting to grow back and she is really starting to shine!
Sia loves kids and really enjoys the company of the grandchildren when they come over. She is great with dogs and nonreactive when meeting new dogs or seeing dogs when she is on a walk. She is untested with cats and other animals but with gradual introductions she would be fine. She is also sharing her foster home with a litter of young foster puppies and has enjoyed keeping a close eye on them and being ever so gentle. She is not suited to being an outside dog, she needs to be part of the family and included in everyday activities. She walks well on her head halti and is learning lots of manners in her foster home.
She would be the perfect companion for a first time Dane owner as long as she had another dog. If you think Sia could be the one for you, please contact us for an application.
