About Kiana
Hi, I'm Kiana and don't tell me I'm a grown up dog because inside I am still a big puppy. I love to run and play then run, then play, then sleep (and snore) and after that run and play a bit more. Yes I have a lot of energy but I have a lot of heart as well. I am a super loyal girl and I love rules and boundaries. I want to please you and I will do anything you tell me, it will be all about you. I love learning too. If you want to teach me tricks, I'm in, as long as there are lots of reward cuddles along the way. Because you know it can be pretty boring if you are intelligent and want to know more things, and life stops at 'sit'.
I really love going for a drive in the car. I'm very calm and hardly ever bark. I attract a bit of attention because I look very regal as I watch the world go by.
I love dogs, all dogs, size is not important to me but I really want to live with a playful dog. But bear in mind, that although I am extremely good natured, I can and do play rough, so I need to live with a dog that can handle that. A dog that likes to run with me would be awesome, because I am fast!! Toys are great too, but I'll be honest with you, they don't last very long once I sink my teeth into to them, especially anything fluffy! I tell you, there is no better feeling in this world than pulling the stuffing out of a teddy bear!
Please don't tell anyone, but I also like cats. They are terrific fun to play with! I'm happy for them to be the boss of me if they want to be, I'm not stupid, those guys have claws!
Walks are great. I love getting out and about and going for long walks but even better than that, I love to go to the off lead park so I can really stretch my legs. I will run here, I will run there, but when you call me I will come straight back to you, because like I said, its all about you.
Okay I'm not perfect because I do love to play a little rough, and sometimes small dogs don't give me a chance to explain that I LOVE small dogs and they get a bit worried by me and that's why my foster mum is continuing my training. I asked her about my wearing a coat saying 'I live with small dogs' but she said that wouldn't be APPROPRIATE. What does that mean?
People are my favourite, I like to be with you a lot, I will always be in the same room as you, sleeping at your feet or watching you cook. And kids? Love them too! I confess that I am a bit of a needy girl and I like a lot of company. If it can't be you all day everyday (which I would absolutely LOVE), then I will really need a playmate or two or three to fill in my time until you get home.
Finally at the end of a busy day the best place to be is on the couch next to you or curled up on the end of your bed. Don't look at me and make the mistake of thinking I'm an outside dog, because I'm not. I am in touch with my inner princess and I would much rather be inside cuddled up with you.
