About Doug
Hello, my name is Doug and I am about 20 weeks old. I look like a soft and cuddly greyhound.
I was in foster on acreage, I stayed on my own side of the wire fence, and didnt go anywhere near the cows and horses.
For the past few weeks I have been living with my two foster brothers.
I love to run, play and wrestle with them.
I have also been lucky to play with an acquaintance of my foster family that have 4 kids who’s ages are 3 years to 11 years old.
My foster parents have been trying to teach me to sit, which I do mostly for my food. I love cuddles and pats too. Sometimes I try to tell my foster parents about my day, but I’m not sure if they understand.
I have been loving going for walks. I like to take my time with all the different smells out there and other people to meet, so it can take a while just to go around the block.
I absolutely love playing in water, a clam shell filled with water keeps me happy for ages!
I am going to grow up to be a big boy. I believe that my parents were Staghound X Greyhound, so will need my forever home to understand that. I am a very happy puppy that loves company and will always be excited to see you when you come home.
As with all pups, I need a home that will be committed to continue my training. I would do almost anything for a treat.
My other carer is now studying, and I have shifted to a new mum in Northcote
