About Ranger and Apollo- special needs
***Special home needed for special needs boys!***
We would love it if they can find a home together! Please share their faces around :)
Ranger and Apollo have had the hardest lives anyone could imagine out on the streets. They have the most friendly and docile natures yet came to me beaten, scratched, riddled with fleas, worms, ringworm and even FIV :(
Both boys have been badly mistreated and are surprised when shown love, but they lap it up when they do and are really enjoying the high life while waiting for adoption.
They have been in care for months and have thrived with so much love and affection, they can't get enough of it!!
Apollo (giant grey boof head) is shy with strangers but when he trusts you man does he come out of his shell. He's a super smooch with a powerful head butt to go along with those enormous cheeks! We had his collar specially made for him because his neck is so fat! He looooves his Kitty friends but isn't too keen on dogs.
Apollo has just recovered from entropian eye-lid surgery and a tooth removal and is in perfect health
Ranger has a bad eye and skin allergies but otherwise perfect health. His eye doesn't need further treatment and at the moment he's on sensitive food but his fur is as good as it will get, he just has slightly balding patches around his ears...but it's the little imperfections that make him purrfect :)
He is SUPER confident with everyone he meets. He will greet strangers, cats, dogs, kids, anyone really, with a head butt and a lick. All he wants is to be loved and cuddled forever!
He's nervous when you touch his back and will shy away, but once he trusts you he will let you pat him anywhere without flinching.
Everyone who has met him has fallen in love but unfortunately his looks have let him down with potential adopters :(
FIV does not mean a death sentence for cats. In simple terms they have a lower immunity so will be more susceptible to picking up germs from other cats (so recommend indoor only), they need to stay up to date with vaccinations and may develop health problems later on with age, like any other cat!
Here's a link to more information on it

If you already have another cat and would like to offer one or both of these special boys a home they will need the FIV vaccination, these boys are not aggressive at all so aren't at risk to passing on to other cats unless they are attacked first (it's only transferred by blood contact and CANNOT be transferred to humans)
These boys sleep together and groom each other, they are so good together that they'd be perfect if you're after an instant house full of shadows following you everywhere!
They can be adopted separately though to the right home
They've been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated
Adoption fee negotiable to the right home
Located in Semaphore SA
Medical notes
Both boys tested positive to FIV, please see personality description for more information
Adoption details
When sending an enquiry email/text/phone call please just tell me a little about the home you have to offer.
You can then come and have a meet and greet, and if you fall in love then we will transfer the ownership and they will be yours!
We offer a lifetime return policy if for some reason you can no longer care for any of our precious animals
