About AD141 - Tigger
AD141 - Tigger
Gender: Female
Breed: Shephard x Kelpie
Colour: Brindle
Age: 3 and half years
Tigger is an absolute delight. Having anxiety means it can take Tigger a couple of minutes to be sure of someone but once she feels safe loves being around people. She is very affectionate and loves to be cuddled. She definitely thinks she is half her size and will try to plonk herself onto your lap or lean up against you so she is being touched. Being on her medication means she settles into new environments much quicker than she used to. She is a cheeky girl who enjoys playing with balls and running around the yard but also loves to just veg out on the lounge room floor (or couch if allowed).
Progress
Tigger came to us with anxiety however with medication, training and a little TLC she has gone from a shaking mess to a gorgeous happy dog. However due to human error over and over, she has been put into situations that she cannot cope with and as a result she has classed as a dangerous dog.
She is absolutely amazing with people however cannot cope with other dogs in her space. She needs a STRICT NO PET HOME (no dog visitors) with a secure yard, where she can hang out inside when she is home alone, though prefers to lounge on the couch. Carer will have to be able to come to her training sessions at the vet behaviorist to help her to continue to improve her anxiety. She really is a sweet girl that just needs a very specific environment to shine
Companions
Tigger needs a strict no pets home. She would also suit an older kid household (13+)
Likes/Dislikes
Tigger loves human company and rather enjoys car trips. She doesn't however like other dogs or her muzzle but luckily is quite content just playing at home. She loves tennis balls and ripping the eyes off or stuffing out of her soft toys. She likes to try to sneak onto her current carers bed when no one is looking but being the clever girl she is, knows when to listen. Her favorite treats are pigs ears, which she will sit patiently waiting for with a wagging tail.
Tigger is a beautiful, affectionate and playful character. She also makes a great security feature, announcing the arrival of any guests
