About Humbug
I'm trying a new home to see if i like it!!
Humbug is a splendid looking, boofy boy with many parts to his personality - loyal companion, playful young boofer and stranger cautious- but the total package is a beautiful man who would enrich the lives of any owner. Humbug is a happy house dog, magnificently clean and house trained, well mannered and behaved. He loves the company of people and other dogs and is especially gentle with tiny ones. He prefers to be close to people and wants to able to hop on the lounge or bed sometimes. However, when meeting any stranger, he will be wary and look from a distance until he gets to know them properly. Once he does his greeting is enthusiastic to say the least! humbug gets very excited at walk time (he'd prefer this to be at least once a day for about 15-20 minutes) but can get a bit nervous meeting up with strangers or strange situations so a quiet street walk suits him best. He has some grooming needs that must be well considered before adopting him. Regular attention to his luxuriously thick coat and also his ears, eyes and feet will keep him comfortable and this would require regular visits to a kind groomer. Humbug's ideal home would be one that is a little quieter (no young children) and with someone who is patient on walks and will give him the company of another smaller dog(s). He requires full access to both house and yard at all times and would hate to be left at home for long hours at a time. Humbug has spent every day of his life with truffle and would love to stay with her as they are the perfect pair and have similar needs. Together they are the perfect family addition. He weighs in at just under 11 kilos (so is on the high end of small) but looks larger because of his thick coat. Like many breeds, chins are shedders unlike poodles who don't shed at all. Humbug ill only be rehomed within nsw or act. Humbug comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with local council lifetime registration for $295. If you would like more information on humbug or to arrange to meet him, please phone denise on 0405 244871 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email her using adoption enquiry as your subject heading.
