Baker is such a gentle and beautiful puppy. He has adjusted so well in his foster carer’s home – in the house he shares his space with, apart from humans, a dog and two cats and outside he rubs along with a goat, Alpacas, turkeys, geese, chickens, a kangaroo and his best friend is a Lorikeet.

Baker is a very well behaved puppy and seems to understand that he isn’t supposed to chew or destroy furniture and people’s possessions. He is very good walking on the lead; he doesn’t pull and really enjoys walking with his human or running with energetic ones. Baker is still frightened of the water but with gentle introduction we are hoping that he will learn to enjoy visits to the beach – he does love travelling in the car and all other family activities.

Baker absolutely loves to play and can look like he is charging at the other animals but he is just having fun and there is never any aggression displayed. He is learning what to do with toys – he hates squeaky ones and is still not interested in chasing a ball – his focus is on his humans or his other animal friends. Baker is very bright and learns quickly – he loves to please and be praised so positive training is well received. He now sits, waits for his food and eats on invitation. Baker feeds well with all other species, often sharing his bowl with cats, a Lorikeet or kangaroo – he also really enjoys to chew a bone.

Baker is a very special, affectionate and well behaved puppy who had a difficult start but he has so much to offer and even though he is young at heart you might almost think he has an old soul when you look into his lovely eyes – if you are looking for a very special pet who will bring a lot of joy into your life then Baker is the dog for you.
