About Ollie ~ Maltese x Shih Tzu puppy (On Trial 9/3/16)
Ollie, 8 month old Maltese x Shih Tzu puppy. He is a very loving dog who loves attention and cuddles. He is playful and loves going in the car. He gets along well with other dogs and humans. He barks when he first meets someone new but he soon loves them.
Ollie is an inside dog. He loves being inside and likes to snuggle with you at night. He can't be left alone for long periods of time (all day). He is a people dog and loves to play and be with us. Being a puppy he is still learning and is easily trained.
Ollie has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep him comfortable and beautiful.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
