About Milly
Milly is a delightful fun loving 2 year old cattle dog. As Milly is only new to Sydney Animal Second-chance we are still getting to know her and more information will be added shortly.
We don't know why Milly ended up in the Pound but we believe her life before SAS rescued her was not a great one. However, despite this, she is still a happy and friendly dog with lots of love inside her. She'll make your heart sing and your family whole.
We do know that Milly has a sweet loving personality and appears to be good with dogs of all sizes. She loves to play with her foster carer's parent's border collie. Her carer believes she would be best suited to a home with another dog however maybe ok as an only dog provided her owners did not leave her for long periods.
She is a typical 2 yo cattle dog, so an active home is a must, no sitting in the backyard hour after hour for this girl. She appears to be house trained and is very focused on her people and could benefit from some further training to bring out her full potential but is very eager to please.
Milly will need access to indoors at all times (not necessarily all areas) as she just loves being part of the family and travels well in the car.
Milly is in foster care on the northern beaches area of Sydney.
A big thank you to Jane Earle of Jane Earle Photography for taking the wonderful photographs of Milly. Good photographs are so important with our work with our rescue animals as people connect with good photographs. It is awesome to know that there are photographers out there happy to volunteer their precious time to help our rescue pets find second-chance homes.
Jane has also made a short blog and video of all of the photographs of Milly:)
