Oreo ~ Labrador x, puppy (on trial 20/03/16)

My name is Oreo and I’m a beautiful, male, Labrador X (possibly kelpie). I am 6 months old, playful and affectionate, and easy to train. I will sit to get my leash on for a walk and when told.

I arrived from Dubbo pound to Newcastle about two weeks ago. In that time I have spent time with a family that has four children aged 6- 13 and I play with each of them well. I sleep inside or outside without fuss but I love company as often as it’s offered.

My ideal home: I’d love a home with a decent sized back yard and with a family or owner who will give me lots of attention and love. I'll grow up to be a medium to large dog.

Suitability for children: I am happy to be told what to do by children if they are firm, or am happy to play tug of war and run amok with them if that’s what they encourage.

How I interact with dogs: I am still a playful pup, so I’m not sure how older dogs will be around me.
How I interact with cats: I meet cats on my daily walks around the neighborhood. I never try and chase them or bark at them, but I am very interested in them.
