Bella ~ Staffy (on trial 13/05/16)

Meet Beautiful Bella, the 10 month old Staffy cross. Bella loves nothing more than to play with her foster parents. Her favourite toy would be a rope or ball, although getting her to give you the ball back to throw again is a challenge as she loves to keep you on your toes.

Bella came into care very timid and scared, but after only a couple of weeks she has come out of her shell into a happy and confident puppy. Due to Bella's sad history it can take her a little while to warm to other dogs - she has lived in care with 3 other dogs that she got along with, however she is best suited to an older calmer male dog who she can use as a confident role model. Having a well-adjusted canine role model in her life will assist Bella develop into a well rounded adult herself.

Being still young, Bella will require her new family to continue with her training. At the moment she does know how to sit when asked and she walks well on a lead. We have been working on her house training and she is learning to follow her foster sisters and brother in going outside when she needs to. Bella is outside with her foster sisters and brother during the day and sleeps inside at night.

Bella is best suited to a family without children as she finds them too excitable. She could also knock them over during play and misunderstand their intentions.
