About Alex
Hi! My name is Alex - short for Alexander. I think I'm named after the historic warrior Alexander the Great! Did you know Alexander in Latin means to protect, to defend or to ward off? That's pretty much how I lived as a stray on the streets - defending and protecting myself from mean people or scary animals. Now I'm looking for my own home to defend and protect.
Like Alexander the Great I'm a great communicator and command that from humans when necessary with my meows and purrs. I don't always declare battle - I will surrender to friendly forces when I feel safe. I'll even roll over and show you my belly as a sign of peace.
I am still a kitten so I can be a bit naughty and do occasionally bat and take a swipe (but I usually have my claws in). What can I say - as a street soldier I've learned to play rough so I can be a bit too much for little kids. I need someone who is able to match my athletic prowess so an older companion might suit me better.
Life on the street led me to develop a facial twitch - but in a peaceful state, when I'm calm, it's much better.
I'm only a year old - much too young to live life as a kitty solider. I'd love a home where I can put down my sword and shield. Will you give this warrior a place to hang his medals and put away his armour?
