Flicka

Flicka is a relaxed fellow who is a pleasure to have around.

He starts off a morning walk with a marching gait and pace, but settles into a more leisurely stroll (all the better for smelling the roses and lamp posts).

He loves people, and is quick to flip onto his back for a tummy rub.

He greets other dogs, big and small, with equal ease.

If there is a dog barking behind a fence or across the road, he will look but not react. In fact, he has not barked once while in foster care.

Flicka sits or lies patiently by your feet at the local café, and does not ask for treats from your plate. He is happy to watch the world go by, and say hello to any passing dogs.

He is excellent in the car, and will lie down almost immediately for a snooze most car trips.

He will wait quietly for your return when you head out for the day.

He isn’t into balls or soft toys, but loves a treat-filled Kong or tasty bone. On your return he will greet you with vertical leaps which are quite impressive!
