About Blaze *On Trial in His New Home*
*BLAZE IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Like a blaze of glory, this little fella will capture your heart! Introducing ‘Blaze’ he is ready to meet his new family! He would benefit from a home that either has time to give him lots of cuddles and train him to be an indoor/outdoor doggie, or if you’ll be away most of the day at work he’ll need one with a canine companion or even a goat or a sheep or a cat - he loves them all. And don’t forget children as he’s rather fond of them too.
Intercepted on his way to our local pound Blaze is a Jack Russell Terrier x Kelpie who is described as a confident and bubbly pup who loves a bit of fun – Blaze is so adorable, you just want to pick him up and snuggle him; mind you he likes that for a short time until he decides there’s so much more fun to be had on the ground and off he goes again! We’re unsure if he’ll grow to be Jack Russell or Kelpie size but hopefully he’ll still be the perfect size to be scooped up and cuddled as he loves his human contact.

Blaze is proving to be an intelligent pup as he quickly picked up “sit” and loves a fabulous game of fetch, bringing his favorite toys or a big chunky stick back to his foster mum every time - it certainly helps that he’s in care with a fabulous foster family who have spent quality time with him. Blaze knows his name and has terrific recall and also loves treats (which he takes gently), so this should help with any further training as he’s keen to learn and please his humans. The only thing Blaze may need some help with is toilet training so he can enjoy spending time inside.
This affectionate little hunk of spunk enjoys playing with toys in a home with secure fencing and bones to chew on. He has taken well to his lead and gets very excited to go out for a walk when given the chance and would love for this to continue in the future.
If you’ve got the time, patience and love to continue to bring up adorable, fun-loving Blaze then please download and complete a SARG Dog Adoption Application form by following this link http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
