About Turbo *On Trial in His New Home*
*TURBO IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Tremendous Turbo is ready to meet his new family! He would benefit from a home that either has time to give him lots of cuddles and train him to be an indoor/outdoor doggie, or he’ll need one with a canine companion, large or small, if you’ll be away most of the day at work. Turbo is ‘bounding’ for a new home; do you have what it takes?
Intercepted on his way to our local pound Turbo is a Jack Russell Terrier x Kelpie and is described as a confident and effervescent pup that bounds all around the yard and loves a bit of fun – Turbo by name, Turbo by nature! Though when he’s picked up he’s instantly calm turning him into a rag-doll cat as he is just content and happy to be snuggling in your arms. We’re unsure if he’ll grow to be Jack Russell or Kelpie size but hopefully he’ll still be the perfect size to be scooped up and cuddled as we know he’d love that.

Tenacious Turbo LOVES cats as you can see in this next video though your kitty has to be prepared to play and play hard!: https://youtu.be/2ljq-JL5Saw
Turbo is proving to be an intelligent pup as he’s already picked up “sit” and quickly got the hang of a good game of fetch, bringing the ball back every time, or waiting til his foster sister gets it and then grabbing it off her to reap the benefits without having to run! It certainly helps that he’s in care with an older, medium-large size dog that has been showing him the ropes, and teaching him the proper ways to play and behave. Turbo knows his name and loves treats (which he takes gently), so this should help with any further training, as he’s keen to learn and please his humans.
This affectionate pup enjoys playing with toys in a home with secure fencing and bones to chew on. He has taken well to his lead and gets very excited to go out for a walk when given the chance and would love for this to continue in the future. He’s also crate trained and will sleep outside or inside in his crate.
If you’ve got the time, patience and love to continue to bring up tenacious Turbo then please download and complete a SARG Dog Adoption Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
