Kobi ~ Kelpie x Border Collie on trial 6/5/16

My name is Kobi - I'm a 6 month old male Kelpie x Border Collie puppy. I absolutely LOVE people, especially children. If you meet me you will fall in love with me instantly (that’s what everyone I’ve met says anyway!) I also enjoy the company of other dogs and love rough and tumble play with my canine foster sister.

I think my 3 human siblings (2, 6 and 8 years) are the best! I love it when the big boys get home from school and I love my morning walks with them. I love sniffing things and saying hi to people on the way. When I’m in the car I sit with my 2 year old human brother - we snuggle together! I am very patient with children.

I’m in care with a cat and some chickens in a run. I've learnt that the cat doesn’t want to play, so I just steer clear now. I don't bother the chickens.

As with all young puppies I don't like being left on my own - I'm an extremely social chap and would love a friendly canine friend to play with and a person who is home a lot. I would suit a stay at home mum or dad with kids who will involve me in family activities.

I have learnt to sit and come and my foster mum's working on drop the toy with me. Did I tell you that I love toys and tug-o-war? I know that I have to sit and wait for my dinner. I’ve learnt to use the doggy door and I love having access to come in and out when my family is home. I need to sleep inside at night as I'm most content there.

I’m a pretty special puppy and I will definitely make a wonderful addition to any household lucky enough to have me join their family!
