Mia ~ Whippet X (on trial 21/08/16)

Mia is a beautiful 4 month old Whippet cross - as with many puppies we are unsure of her exact mix, but she has beautiful brindle colouring, loooong Victoria’s Secret worthy legs and little almond shaped eyes that make you melt. She'll probably grow up to be a large adult.

She is a very loving girl that seeks out being held and snuggled, whether it’s with a person or a dog! When she isn’t cuddling up with her 3 canine foster sisters she is ready to play and wrestle with them! She is still getting used to her gangly legs and goes top over tail a lot! We would love to see Mia go to a home with another dog to be a role model/playmate (and definitely snuggle buddy!). Alternatively, someone who is home a lot and gives her lots of attention and include her in their lifestyle.

Mia is still only young so is working on toilet training and she is doing well, she will need a family who can continue her training and understand that a few accidents are part of being a puppy! We always recommend training classes to teach your new family member some basic skills.

Currently Mia is an inside/outside dog which means that she sleeps inside and is allowed inside most of the day, but she is also more than happy to run around outside and explore. We love when people understand that dogs are a part of the family and as such should be allowed in for snuggle time. She will need secure fencing at her forever home, no small gaps that a puppy could squeeze through and 6ft high high fencing fr when she is fully grown.

Mia is in foster care with children as young as 2 and she loves kids of all ages! She enjoys giving them puppy kisses and cuddles and she plays very well with them. She is also in care with rabbits and she is sweet with them.

Mia is learning puppy manners - when she is being a typical cheeky puppy she is good at understanding “no” - she immediately stops, has a bit of a sook but comes back for lots of cuddles when she realizes you still love her!
