Chloe

Hello my name is Chloe and I am a greyhound who use to race very fast around a track, but now I just want a family to be a part of.
People love to stop and pat me on my walks and everyone always comments how sweet and gentle I am. I love my walks but contrary to common belief, greyhounds are a bit lazy. I will be happy to walk with you or play in the yard but I like my sleep a lot.
I especially love to just lay around inside while everyone goes about their day, I enjoy feeling a part of the family. Although I love being inside, I do enjoy being outside during the day time too. My favourite activities are fetching a tennis ball or playing with my squeaky chicken.
Because I was not a household pet I was never taught basic commands like sit or stay, and sometimes I get a bit excited on my lead, but my foster parents are teaching me and I’m a very good listener.
Because I was attacked by another dog i can be a little bit shy and scared of other dogs at first, but once I warm up to them and know I am safe then I enjoy a play.
I am suited to all types of families because I am gentle and don’t need a lot of exercise, but I would like someone that can offer me lots of pats and walk me everyday.
