Who’s a handsome boy?!

Buxton is a great looking pup with a soft but playful nature. His hobbies include aiding his foster carer with the gardening by lying on top of the weeds, getting cuddles and playing with his foster siblings.

Since being in care, Buxton has enjoyed the company of other puppies and met a number of adult dogs who he likes to give puppy kisses to if they are friendly, though he has worked out that its best to leave some of them alone. He spends a lot of his day rumbling with his foster siblings and likes to chase a ball if you roll it for him.

He is a smoochy puppy who loves people and will quickly jump in your lap for cuddles but is not that demanding that he will jump up and puppy bite to get your attention. Buxton has learnt to follow his foster carer around the house when encouraged and is now learning to walk on the lead and sit for a treat. He is food motivated which will aid his future training. It is very important that his new family are committed to continuing his training so that he becomes the model canine citizen we know he will be.

Buxton would thrive living with another friendly dog or with a family where someone is home most of the time. We are looking for a family who will include him in their daily activities and ensure that he gets daily exercise and stimulation to keep him healthy and happy. There should be a comfy bed inside for him to sleep on to keep him out of the weather and standard secure fencing.
