About Demi
Demi was surrendered into Wally's care along with her litter mates covered in bush and paralysis ticks. Luckily enough, our fantastic team in our Northern Branch spent the best part of a whole day removing each and everyone of them. They are now all happy, healthy solid babies.
Demi is in foster care with 2 of her siblings and another pup her own age as well as 5 host dogs so is being well socialised while in care. Her foster home also includes kids, the youngest being 10yrs and enjoys playtime with everyone. She's very much a snuggler and happy to follow you wherever you go.
Toilet training is in progress which is going well and she's following her older host dogs lead with this. Demi has only had her 1st vaccination and therefore unable to be taken out and about in the big wide world just yet so leash training is something her new family will need to start.
Of the 3 breeds, Kelpie is the more dominant in both looks and characteristics with Demi and she will be a very active girl who will need both mental and physical stimulation. A medium to large yard or property would be ideal for this gorgeous girl and an older companion dog would be beneficial with regards to her training in her new home as well as company.
To kickstart her training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Demi.
Demi will come microchipped, vaccinated (First 2 vaccs), desexed, wormed and flea treated and will be available for adoption once her vetwork is complete. She is booked in for desex on 7th March. Demi is in foster care in Hamlyn Terrace.
Medical notes

When enquiring about Demi, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialization outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
