Jess

Jess first arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for her forever home. Jess is a very sweet and playful girl who loves to cuddle up to you and have pats in saying that Jess does also have a very playful side to her and being a cattle x she has plenty of energy to burn and her favourite way to do that is running around with her puppy friends chasing her toys and playing around with the staff. Jess will need to go to a home where she can be included in as much of the day to day activities with the family as possible. Since Jess does have a very active personality she will need to be taken for a walk at least once a day and that being increased as she gets older to two walks or a big run a day. When Jess arrives at her new home she will need to have plenty of toys to keep her occupied and also for those times she is left alone. Puppy pre-school would be great for Jess as there she will not only learn the basic commands but will also help further her in socialising with other animals. Jess will need to go to a home with a large backyard with fences at least 6ft high that are flush to the ground with no footholes or gaps. If you are thinking of adopting Jess and you already have another dog at home we recommend that you bring your dog along to the shelter so we can see how they interact with each other.
