Stella

Stella came into the shelter as a stray and is now looking for her new forver home. Stella is a very happy go lucky dog that loves to run around play with her toys and spend time with the ones that love her. Since being here at the shelter Stella has been in with other dogs/puppies and doesn't mind the company at all in fact she loves having friends to run around and chase. If you are thinking of adopting Stella and you already have another dog at home we recommend that you bring your dog along to the shelter so we can see how they get along. Stella will need to be taken for a walk at least once a day and that being increased and she grows to two walks or a big run a day so they her exercise meets her energy needs. Puppy Pre-school would be a great idea for Stella as there she will learn the basic manners and commands such as sit stay drop and who knows she may even learn a cool trick or two! Even tho Stella does only have a short coat she will still need to be brushed at least 3 times a week to ensure that she is always kept looking her best. Stella would be best suited to a family that can include her in as much of the day to day activities a possible. Stella will also need plenty of toys for her to play with and also to keep her occupied during that time she is left alone.
