About “Goldie”, Our Golden Girl. Gold Coast
Goldie is a beautiful fawn girl with a pretty face, expressive ears, gorgeous brown eyes and a cute black-and-white tip on her tail. Goldie’s playful, cheeky nature has blossomed if foster care, and you wouldn’t believe that this happy, affectionate girl was too scared when she arrived to even sleep inside! Now she loves human company, and often comes to seek cuddles from her foster carers in between her naps.
Goldie is a lazy grey who enjoys short walks, especially if they involve a beach or river where she can get in the water and cool off. She loves her food, and is quick to investigate when she hears any activity in the kitchen. She’s also fond of collecting “treasures”, which have so far included shoes, cushions, a bath mat, and a pair of her foster mum’s knickers!
Although Goldie’s living with two canine foster siblings, she’d be happy as an only dog with plenty of human company, and seems to respond especially well to men (despite being in foster care with two ladies). She still needs to be supervised around other dogs that she doesn’t know. Goldie hasn’t been tested with cats, and hasn’t had much to do with children, but has a gentle, tolerant nature that suggests she could learn to live with them successfully.
We think Goldie deserves a gold medal for her incredible transition from terrified rescue to adorable pet…and a wonderful forever home!
