Skye

What a sweet, feisty, little girl Skye is. She is one of the smallest in her litter, and also one of the most active.

Skye is a fully black Kelpie x Koolie mix and is quite an energetic, mischievous and intelligent puppy. Skye is another sheep lover, just like her two sisters, Ruby and Rosie.

Skye is very active and will be looking for an equally active family with a de-sexed male doggy companion with similar energy levels or a family who have lots of time at home for her to spend her days with and to continue with her socialisation and training to ensure she grows into a happy, obedient and balanced dog.

Skye and her siblings have all been raised around sheep, chickens and other dogs. They have been handled by a variety of children and adults and have sure had a brilliant start to their social life.

Skye sits for attention and food, remains calm at feeding times and comes every time I call her. She loves water and cuddles. She has a very big personality and wins almost every time she competes with her siblings in games, such as tug.

Skye would benefit from obedience and puppy classes. She will need to be walked at least once or twice a day as she grows. I believe she would make a great running companion and may even excel at sheep dog trials and agility as she just loves chasing my sheep around the paddock. Along with her sisters, Ruby and Rosie, she has taken an incredible interest in my sheep and would benefit from a large yard or a rural/farm setting.
