About Georgie
To save you time please…..Georgie needs to be rehomed with another energetic dog as she just loves to play. She is a gentle, affectionate girl who has a sweet personality, and loves nothing more than spending time indoors with her people. Georgie is playful and is generally easy-going by nature.
Although Georgie can be anxious when meeting new canine friends for the first time, she's not aggressive, and she does eventually settle. She can also be fearful of other dogs she doesn't know jumping up at her, but does calm down once she realises she's not in danger. Georgie likes big and small dogs although she may bark excitedly when she first meets them. Once acquainted, though, Georgie's fun-loving streak comes to life and she loves to play enthusiastically with other dogs - all day long, if she can!
Georgie is currently learning a few basic commands, and is so far doing very well. She is intelligent and eager to please which means she responds to consistent training. Her new guardian or family will need to continue with this, and she will no doubt further improve in this area. She also walks happily on a loose lead most of the time.
Georgie loves to be active and will need a moderate amount of exercise each day. She especially loves to run, and so needs a home with some space to stretch her legs and sniff around the yard. Georgie is people-oriented and seeks the attention of humans whenever she can.
Georgie is looking for the opportunity to make one very special person or family her own to adore. Could you be the lucky one to win her heart?

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
